This is to notify your good office that we are facilitating a salvage operations on board vessel APL Denver due to a collision on 3/1/2017.
The oil spill due to the incident is currently under control condition.
As a consequence, we foresee massive changes in berth arrangement for all vessels regardless of their window allocations.
Looking at current high yard utilization (80% full in import blocks, 40% full in export blocks), it is also expected that the loading and discharging operations at terminal will be delayed especially when hauliers turn up to deliver/pick up containers during peak hours.
Thus, berth delays and longer waiting time at anchorage are inevitable.
At this point of time, we estimate the exercise to be completed in a week time. We shall definitely notify you any changes on the timeline.
