Reference made to the above subject, where this is to inform that Royal Malaysian Customs Department will implement new tariff code for ASEAN KOREA FTA (AKFTA) from its existing HS Customs Duty Order (PDK 2007 & AHTN 2012) to Customs Duty Order (PDK 2017 – 10 digits) on 1 August 2020.
All Customs 1 (K1) and Customs 9 (K9) under Transaction Type – S (Importation with Preferential Tariff) must enter proper Special Treatment Code “7” for AKFTA.
