A new strategic initiative spearheaded by the Danish Embassy in Malaysia has brought together major Danish companies to advance the green agenda in the country.

The initiative, called the Green Transition Alliance, officially kicked off on Wednesday 3 April 2025 with the participation of leading Danish firms including Blue Water Shipping, Carlsberg Group, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, Novo Nordisk, and ROCKWOOL Asia.

“Private sector involvement is key to unlocking climate action,” writes the embassy on LinkedIN.

The Alliance is expected to foster knowledge exchange between Danish and Malaysian stakeholders, aiming to accelerate the green transition through concrete activities and shared initiatives.

The launch meeting marked what the Embassy described as “just the beginning” of the Green Team Denmark in Malaysia in action.
